What and where to eat in Sliema

During your fitness and yoga holiday, you will undoubtedly want to know where the best places to refuel and refresh are. Being based in Sliema is a great luxury when it comes to this. With so many restaurants and cafes within walking distance, you really are spoilt for choice.

Taking care of what you eat is important for improving fitness and losing weight. In Sliema, there are certainly options to make this tasty and easy. Pure juice and health bar is located not even 2 minutes away from our training centre. They offer a large, appetizing vegan menu, cold press juices, lactose-free drinks, and even sugar-free sweets and cakes. With prices ranging from 1- 10 EUR eating here won’t cost an arm and a leg. Right next to the FreeMyMe studio there is also a place called J’oli. This sandwich and salad bar also has a healthy selection. Including wraps, grilled ciabattas, smoothies and custom-made salads. With a similar price range to Pure, J’oli is also a good option for healthy food.   Also close to the fitness centre is Tower supermarket. This quite large three-story food store is fully equipped with everything you would expect. A good option if you wish to make something for yourself.

Of course, we cannot forget to mention the wide selection of restaurants on offer. Whether you wish to try something new or familiar, Sliema has so many options with foods from across the world on offer. There are restaurants for all different price ranges too, from trendy cafes, tasty lunches and finer dining experiences.

Sliema also offers several places that cook traditional, homemade Maltese food. We recommend, “Ta’ Kris” and “il – Merill” but most serve good quality food, at affordable prices. The sea views that can be seen at many of these places along the promenade can’t be overstated, making the experience unmissable.
