Included in the tour are places such as the authentically traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk, with a wonderful fresh fish market held every Sunday, the remarkable Dingli Cliffs, the idyllic Blue Grotto and the shiny golden beaches, Għajn Tuffieħa and Golden bay.
Our local guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning and we will go to Birgu via private transfer.  One of the oldest settlements on the island and from 1530 the seat of the Order of St. John. We will visit Gardjola Gardens to admire the unforgettable panorama view of Valletta and the Grand Harbour of Malta from the viewing point.
From Birgu we will go visit the traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk, famous for its colourful traditional “Luzzu” boats. It is here that the largest fish market on the Maltese Islands takes place every Sunday. Showcasing a range of locally caught, fresh as the ocean breeze, seafood.
Then we will go to the viewpoint at Blue Grotto and Dingli Cliffs, from where you can admire the turquoise, aquamarine hues of the Mediterranean Sea and the smallest Maltese islet – Filfla. Itself subject of much history.
Possibly sacred to the Neolithic inhabitants of the islands, the only structure on the islet was a chapel built in 1343, situated inside a cave, which was subsequently destroyed by an 1856 earthquake. In the 1980s it was implicated of a territorial dispute between Malta and Libya regarding a submerged portion of land of which Fifla was a part.
As part of our tour of Malta, we will also take you to Mdina, the fortified first capital of Malta. Today it is known as the “Silent City” with over of history and habitation dating back to the 13th century, with architecture far surpassing even that.
Our tour of Malta will end near the most famous beaches in Malta – Ghajn Tuffieha and Golden Bay.
Many films have been shot here, including ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ and ‘Troy’.
After the tour, we will return you to your accommodation.
