12. GOZO SIGHTSEEING – PRIVATE TOUR
A private full-day trip to the island of Gozo by car/van/coach with a local guide. For small and large groups (up to 500 people).
A full-day trip to the sister island of Malta includes a unique combination of a scenic ride along the coast of Malta, a relaxing ferry crossing to the island of Gozo, a delicious lunch in one of our favourite places and an exciting motorboat ride to the Blue Lagoon and the breath-taking cliffs of Comino.
The group leader will pick you up from your hotel at around 8:00-9:00 in the morning. Then, by a private transfer, we will go to the Cirkewwa ferry terminal.
The ferry crossing will take about 20 minutes. On the other side at the port of Mgarr on Gozo, we will change to a van/coach (depending on the size of the group), which will be at the group’s convenience for the whole journey.
During this guided tour we will visit the most famous corners of this naturally pristine island, following our very own, unique Ready4Malta route.
We will see the beautiful reddish-golden sand of Ramla Bay. Dwejra where the remains of Azure Window stand.
The Azure window is famed and has appeared in many instance sof media, perhaps most famously in the hit television series, “Game of Thrones”.
The charming Xlendi Bay loved by divers, as well as the ancient natural salt pans, built by the Phoenicians in antiquity and later developed by the Romans.
We will also visit the mysterious Ta’ Pinu Shrine, the origins of which are still unknown. Then Victoria (Rabat) – the capital of Gozo.
At around 12:00-12:30, we will stop for lunch. A one-day trip to Gozo does not include a meal in the price of the basic package. However, we offer our guests three options:
You can buy a packed lunch, book a restaurant of your choice or add to the package a meal in one of our favourite, checked places in Gozo. Learn more HERE and decide on your meal. After lunch, we continue to explore the island.
At the end of the guided tour of Gozo, we suggest a scenic return to Malta by motorboat. Along the way, we will pass by the beautiful Blue Lagoon, as well as the spectacular cliffs and rock grottos of the Comino island.
After the full-day trip to Gozo, we will take you back to your accommodation. Planned return time: 16:00-17:00.
